Medical Marijuana Card Recommendations

The physicians at Tierra Healthcare have the right to exercise their medical judgment in recommending medical marijuana for patients that suffer from medical conditions considered to be debilitating and chronic. The list below contains some of the more common conditions that would qualify a patient for the use of medical marijuana (in qualifying states).

Florida Medical Marijuana Qualifying Conditions

Medical conditions of the same kind or class as or comparable to those listed

A terminal condition diagnosed by a physician other than the qualified physician issuing the physician certification.

Chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying medical condition or that originates from a qualifying medical condition and persists beyond the usual course of that qualifying medical condition.

Debilitating medical conditions & chronic medical conditions

While marijuana is still illegal at the federal level, many states have made marijuana legal for medicinal use. For patients to qualify for medical marijuana in these participating states, they must be diagnosed with a condition that meets their state's list of conditions for medical marijuana.


Once a patient has visited a qualified medical marijuana doctor and been approved for medical marijuana, the patient can then legally purchase medical marijuana at authorized dispensaries.
